About Me!

I'm a Northern girl.
I live in Northern Ontario Canada.  The winters are long and cold and dark and I love them.  Of course I love summer too.  Fall is my MOST favorite time of year.  I love the smells of fall.  Leaves, pumpkin pie, a cool fresh breeze.  I love it!

I love recycling, reusing and reducing.  This is a good thing as I live in a somewhat isolated community.  We have very few stores and the nearest city is a 2 hour drive away.  This limits my resources but helps me think creatively and use what I have or what I can get.

I am a saver.  I hate spending money if I don't need to.  I also hate paying full price.  I shop the flyers, garage sales and second hand shops.  If I REALLY need something I compare, compare, compare.  Sometimes it is worth it to buy the fancy one so it will last and be cheaper in the long run.  Unfortunately not many things are made to last these days.

I love my children.  They are my life.  They are my heart.  Everyday they make me angry, sad, determined, relaxed, excited, and glad.  I am completely taken by them.  Jackson, my son and eldest child, is 4 years old.  He is emotional and sensitive like his Mom, a goof and chatter-box like his Dad and loves his family as much as we love him.  Brooklynn, my daughter and youngest child, is 21 months old.  She is most like her Dad.  She is smart (too smart!), fearless, tough and a lover of food, shoes (this is unlike her Dad) and family.

I love my husband. We are so perfectly matched.  Where I falter he is strong and where I am strong he falters.  God knew what He was doing and we see His fingerprints throughout the story of "how we met".  I can't imagine being married to anyone else.  Well, actually I can and it would be a disaster!

I love my God.  I love Jesus.  I love being part of the church, the body of Christ.  Someday I will be in my forever home, in heaven, and it will be glorious!  I hope you will be there too.  I can't wait to meet you!!
